About the Event

We are very excited to offer a series of “in person” gong baths at various locations across London, so you can once again feel the powerful vibrations of the gong travel through your body.

This session is held at Gnome House, which is a few minutes from the Victoria line.  (Gnome House, 7 Blackhorse Lane, Walthamstow, E17 6DS). Gnome House is a community arts centre in Walthamstow, East London, near Blackhorse Road tube. It hosts a world-class printmaking studio, a cafe and a large multi-purpose space.

Everyone is welcome - experienced meditators and those curious to try a gong bath for the first time. The beauty of a gong bath meditation is that anyone can enjoy it, no experience necessary. (Please see note below about circumstances where gong baths might not be suitable).

The sound and vibrations from the gong help to centre the mind, calm the nervous system, and restore vitality to the body.

Here are a few suggestions for what to bring:

  • Something comfortable to lie on, such as a yoga mat
  • A blanket or warm jumper
  • A pillow for your head
  • Something to cover your eyes with

Spots are very limited so grab yours now! Social distancing guidelines will be observed, so you'll have plenty of space to yourself while being close to the gong for maximum vibrational effect.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Gong baths are not suitable for anyone with a pacemaker, anyone who suffers from fits (epileptics), or anyone who is extremely sensitive to sound. They are also not recommended for women in the first trimester of pregnancy due to the unstable nature of pregnancy during that time. If you wear a hearing aid, your device should be turned off during the session. If you have any concerns, please speak with your doctor in advance.
